Time Card Calculator
Total your weekly work hours and pay from clock-in and clock-out times.
How the Time Card Calculator Works
For each day, enter your clock-in time, clock-out time, and any unpaid break minutes. The calculator computes hours worked per day and totals them for the week. If you provide an hourly rate, it also calculates gross pay with 1.5× overtime for hours worked beyond 40 in a week.
Notes on Overtime
This uses the standard US weekly overtime rule (over 40 hours per week at 1.5×). State rules and union agreements may differ — for example, California uses daily overtime. Always check your local labor laws.
FAQ
Does this handle overnight shifts?
Yes — if your clock-out time is earlier than clock-in, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight.
Are breaks paid or unpaid?
Break minutes are subtracted from the day's hours, treated as unpaid. Leave the field at 0 if your breaks are paid.
How is overtime calculated?
Any total weekly hours over 40 get 1.5× pay multiplier. Hours up to 40 are at the regular rate.
Is this gross or net pay?
Gross only. It does not deduct taxes, insurance, or other withholdings.
Is anything saved?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser.
