How to Use the Alarm Clock
Select the time for your alarm using the time input. Give your alarm a label (e.g., "Wake up", "Meeting reminder"). Choose your preferred alarm sound and snooze duration. Click "Add Alarm" to create it. The alarm will activate at the specified time with sound and browser notification. Keep the browser tab open for alarms to work.
Features
Set unlimited alarms. Each alarm can have a custom label and sound. When an alarm goes off, you'll see a notification popup and hear the alarm sound. Snooze any alarm for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Disable or delete alarms anytime. Alarms persist in browser storage between page refreshes.
Browser Compatibility
Works on modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Browser tab must remain open for alarms to trigger. Some browsers may require permission to show notifications. Enabling notifications ensures you don't miss alarms even if the tab isn't actively focused.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to keep the tab open?
Yes, the browser tab must be open for alarms to work. The browser needs to be running to check if it's alarm time.
Can I set alarms for tomorrow?
The standard time input only allows selecting times within a 24-hour period. For tomorrow, set the time you want and keep the tab open overnight, or set a new alarm in the morning for tomorrow's task.
Will I get a notification?
Yes! When an alarm triggers, you'll get both a sound alert and a browser notification. Some browsers may require you to grant notification permissions first.
Can I change the snooze time?
Each alarm has its own snooze duration (5, 10, or 15 minutes). This is set when creating the alarm and can be different for each one.
What if my computer goes to sleep?
Alarms may not trigger if your computer enters sleep mode, as the browser stops running. For reliable alarms overnight, keep your computer awake or use system-level alarm tools.
